Sara Cartmill Program Director and the Manager of Volunteer Services at Interages. She is primarily responsible for volunteer recruitment for the Ruth Rales Reading Tutorial Initiative (RRRTI). Ms. Cartmill has worked for over 15 years in nonprofit organizations, most recently as Executive Director of the Silver Spring Interfaith Housing Coalition. She has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland, and extensive volunteer recruitment and management experience. Ms. Cartmill has taught English as a Second Language in Seville, Spain, and volunteered as an ESL instructor with CASA of Maryland and Calvary Bilingual School. Her other volunteer experience includes mentoring through the Big Sisters Program and work with Luther Place Women's Shelter. Ms. Cartmill is a graduate of IMPACT Silver Spring's community leadership development program, and serves on the Social Services Advisory Board of Bread for the City in Washington, DC. She is an active member of the Rolling Terrace PTA.
